The whole world was shocked by the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic that started in late 2019 and started in Wuhan, China. The spread of the epidemic has it most countries in the world until the World Health Organization ( WHO ) declared the epidemic a pandemic. Malaysia is also not spared from receiving a direct impact on the economy and society as a result of the spread of the COVID-19  epidemic. The outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic has had an impact on the national economy as many business and manufacturing operation were forced to close.

The government had to issue a directive to close business, contractions and manufacturing operations to control the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in the country. According to the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, as of March 2021 alone, more than 78,4820 businesses have been closed. The closure of these operations has certainty affected the earnings of companies and employers who are struggling to ensure the viability of their businesses.

We all have been affected by the current COVID-19 pandemic. However, the impact of the pandemic and its consequences are felt differently depending on our status as individuals and as members of society. While some try to adapt to working online, homeschooling their children and ordering food at online. COVID-19  is killing people on a large scale.

Lastly, the precautionary measure during COVID-19 is to always wear a face mask when outside. The second step is to wash your hands regularly with soap. The third step is if we cough wear a face mask or cover the mouth when coughing using disposable tissues. Also always keep yourself clean and protect yourself for your loved ones. Finally, let us pray together so that this COVID-19  dies out of the world.
